The essence of this painting is self acceptance and self love. The black & white figure provides us with movement and grace. White stands for pure light and black is for absence of light, here I am using them to represnt presence or absence of conventional beauty standards. Few years back I was reading an article about panthers and there I got to know that the color black of a panther is because of a chemical deficiency and thus they are visibly different from their fellow mates, family and society but thats what makes them unique and today they are considered magnificient. This piece will remind you to love yourself and will provide you with positive energy.
